APPROVAL/LOCAL LAW/AMEND CHAPTER 25/SECTION 25-22/PUTNAM COUNTY CODE/
ENTITLED “MEMBERSHIP; TERMS; VACANCIES”
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the County of Putnam as follows:
Section 1.
Chapter 25, Section 25-22 of the Putnam County Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 25-22 Membership and term.
A. The Putnam County Historic Advisory Preservation Commission shall consist
of nine members who shall reside in the County of Putnam.
B. Members of the Putnam County Historic Advisory Commission shall be
appointed by the County Executive, subject to confirmation by a simple
majority of the Legislature.
C. Members of the Putnam County Historic Advisory Preservation Commission
shall be appointed for a three year term. Members holding office on the
effective date of this section shall continue to serve until the end of their
existing term.
D. A Putnam County Historic Advisory Preservation Commission member shall
serve until his or her successor has been appointed.
Section 2.
This local law shall take effect immediately.
