Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services, Carmel, New York. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 24 new citizens from 17 countries.
The Honorable Judge David Everett served as the officiating Supreme Court Judge and offered court remarks. Sheriff Kevin McConville led the opening prayer, New York State Assemblyman Kevin Byrne, offered welcoming remarks and Karl Rohde, Director of Putnam County Department of Veteran’s Affairs, led the Pledge of Allegiance. Isabella Ciatto presented a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner” and God Bless America.” The Hon. Judge Sweeny, retired Associate Justice of the NYS Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, was the keynote speaker to talk his personal experience and importance of organ donation.
