The Putnam County Department of Public Works - Parks & Recreation is still seeking Lifeguards for the summer 2024 season!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*:        

Possession of a current valid advanced lifesaving certificate; basic life support cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Standard First Aid certificates from the American Red Cross or equivalent certifying agency on the basis of standards approved by the New York State Department of Health. 

*  Pursuant to New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Community Sanitation and Food Protection, Chapter 1, State Sanitary Code, Subpart 6-2.20(b)(2); and the Public Health Law, Section 225.

WHEN: Memorial Day through Labor Day 

WHERE: VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK - 201 GIPSY TRAIL ROAD - CARMEL, NY 10512

PAY: $17-$19 per hour, dependent on previous experience.
