Alt 1 Bridge Single Lane Traffic Light Activation
As part of the the ongoing Peekskill Hollow Rd. Reconstruction Project, the temporary traffic lights for the single lane bridge closure will be activated today (3/23) and will be active for the extent of the bridge rehabilitation. The bridge is located 0.4 miles southwest of the Putnam Valley High School. When the light is green for eastbound traffic, it is red for westbound traffic, and vice versa. At the end of the school day, school buses leave the campus in a caravan. At that time, Sheriff’s Deputies will direct traffic at the bridge. Please obey the direction of Sheriff’s Deputies. The Putnam County Highway Department would like to thank the residents of Putnam Valley and the surrounding Towns for their continued patience as we advance this important infrastructure improvement project.
