Putnam County Clerk Swears in 12 New Citizens May 3rd 2023

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Brewster High School. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 12 new citizens from 11 countries.

The Honorable Victor Grossman served as the officiating Supreme Court Judge and offered court remarks. Brewster High School NJROTC advanced the colors, Patricia Taylor and the Chamber Singers from Brewster High School performed the Star-Spangled Banner and Arianna Arocho from Brewster High School sang God Bless America. Putnam County District Attorney Bob Tendy led the prayer and Peter Allegretta, a U.S Marine Corps. veteran and Putnam County resident, led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Brewster School Superintendent Laurie Bandlow gave the welcoming remarks and Janet Ocasio who is a liver transplant recipient was the guest speaker.
